The head of this trail is at Åsmyra Stadium. Follow the signs northward, on farm roads and trails for about 1, 6 km, to the foot of the mountain. The trail continues up through the pine forest to the top of Grønlihumpen, from which you can enjoy a great panorama of the Vevelstadlandet region, and the myriad of islands of southern Helgeland. A good alternative to returning by the same route is to keep heading south past “Squaw Valley”, perhaps stopping for å picnic by the brook. When you’re ready, proceed along the trail and follow cairn markers across the rock slabs, back down to the forest. Here the trail is very visible again, leading you trough cultivated fields to a gravel road, which takes you back to your starting-point.
